The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) will hold its third town hall meeting in Camden Middle School’s (CMS) multipurpose room Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. Sheriff Jim Matthews said he will report on the state of the sheriff’s office to the Camden community, and he and his command staff will answer citizen questions. Matthews will present statistics on narcotics arrests, traffic violations, address response times and the condition of KCSO equipment and DUIs in Kershaw County. The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Foundation recently held a barbecue fundraiser and raised more than $15,000 for patrol car cameras, something KCSO deputies have previously had to do without.
