More than 50 Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies received free physicals Thursday as part of a new partnership between the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Foundation (KCSF) and KershawHealth. “This is a tremendous opportunity for the men and women who serve to protect Kershaw County,” Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said. “After our colleague, Deputy Rob Evans, suffered a fatal heart attack while working in 2013, we started talking about finding a way to provide physicals for our deputies.”
