Firefighters from the Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) recently received full access to the old Burger King building on U.S. 1 in Lugoff for structured firefighter training evolutions. According to a LFD press release, SAFE Federal Credit Union provided the building to the LFD to be used for training firefighter personnel. Fire crews from the Lugoff, Doby’s Mill, Blaney and Columbia fire departments participated in the training evolution the week of Nov. 11-15.
