An 18-year-old Lugoff-Elgin High School (L-EHS) student is charged with threatening the life of a public official, teacher or principal after allegedly threatening to shoot one of his teachers Tuesday. According to a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) press release issued Wednesday morning, deputies arrested Cameron Mose Oreglia, 18, of Charm Hill Road, Lugoff. “In today’s climate, where school shootings have become far too common, law enforcement can take no chances when a threat of this type is made,” Sheriff Jim Matthews said in the release.
