Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a 50-year-old Camden man April 10 after he allegedly fired a shotgun blast at three juveniles and then threatened the father of two of the boys with a sword. Deputies learned from the father that his two sons and the other boy were shooting fireworks in the public beach area of the Wateree Hills community near Eagles Nest and Kanawha Trail off S.C. 97. He said the older man came out on the deck of his house which is across the street from the beach area but overlooks it.
