Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a man from Martin near the South Carolina-Georgia border Thursday in connection with a break-in at the Outpost/BP convenience store on White Pond Road convenience store near Elgin off I-20. According to a KCSO report, deputies responded to a glass break alarm at the store around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. A deputy immediately noticed the front door glass was broken and found an approximately 30-pound rock inside which the thieves appeared to have used.
