Man kicks, threatens deputies during arrest

A 39-year-old Camden man faces multiple charges following an incident at a U.S. 601 South, Lugoff bar involving a number of Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies and employees According to a KCSO report, the incident took place around 9 p.m. Friday when dispatchers sent deputies to the bar in reference to a drunk customer who wouldn’t leave. When they arrived, employees were seen pushing the man out the front door as he yelled profanities. Two deputies went over and one of them grabbed him by the arm and escorted him to the back of a patrol car.
