Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies assisted Fairfield County deputies in locating an Elgin man wanted for allegedly stealing numerous pieces of furniture from a location known as The Retreat, which appears to be a Fairfield County subdivision. Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) investigators said they went to 39-year-old Bobby Randolph Johnson’s home, located near the intersections of Ridgeway, Smyrna and Springvale roads and saw two gray cigarette containers on the back porch they knew were stolen from The Retreat. KCSO investigators went to the scene and learned that Johnson’s girlfriend said he had called her.
