The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) traffic enforcement unit (TEU) officers were busy on I-20 as they began their second week of operation. As reported Monday, deputies arrested 23-year-old Reco Maurice Bell of Columbia around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after he suddenly braked around mile marker 102 on I-20 when he saw a TEU deputy monitoring eastbound traffic. TEU members immediately identified the passenger as a member of the Bloods from tattoos and a red bandana.
