Deputies discover marijuana plants during domestic assault call

Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies discovered a small outdoor marijuana grow while responding to a criminal domestic violence case in Elgin around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Deputies called to the Englewood Road home met with a 22-year-old woman who said that she and her boyfriend were arguing when he attacked her. She said that he pushed her into a wall and choked her.
