KCSO investigating motel shooting incident

The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is investigating a shooting incident at a West DeKalb Street, Camden, motel. Deputies were called to the motel around between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Feb. 22 to speak to a 35-year-old Camden man who said he got into an argument with the 23-year-old suspect, also from Camden, after the suspect came to the room. At some point during the argument, the suspect pulled out a pistol and said he was going to kill the victim.
