Lengthy investigation yields two major arrests

Two Camden men are behind bars on multiple charges of crack cocaine distribution following a six-month investigation involving the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). According to a KCSO press release, deputies arrested Katrell Cooke, 36, of Monroe Street, and Tarik Omar Shiggs, 32 of West Hampton Street, on Wednesday. Both men are also charged with distribution of crack cocaine in proximity to a school.
