Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) crews responded to a house fire on Pine Grove Road in Lugoff around noon April 21. A press release said a neighbor heard an explosion and saw smoke coming from the home next door. Crews, who arrived to find moderate smoke coming from the second story front windows, took two attack lines into the home to the second story and attic where they found a “significant amount of flames,” according to the press release, coming from the second story rooms near the garage.
