Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) crews worked quickly to stop and control a house fire in Lugoff within six minutes of entering the home Saturday. According to a LF-R press release, firefighters responded to Riverside Drive around 8:40 p.m. with LF-R Chief 1 finding thick smoke coming from the rear of the home and corner eaves. Fire also began showing from the rear of the porch and rear roof.
