Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) crews quickly put out a trailer fire at the Target Distribution Center around 11:30 p.m. Monday. According to a LF-R press release, Lugoff Engine 10, Rescue 10, Engine 8 and Battalion 1 arrived to find moderate smoke coming from the rear of a tractor trailer in the distribution center’s rear commercial parking area. Target staff had already moved the trailer away from the main building and had attempted to enter the trailer using a fire extinguisher to put out the fire.
