The Concerned Clergy of Kershaw County will host a public meeting with the county’s leading law enforcement officials at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 4 in the Camden High School auditorium. Organizer Rev. Marion Bennett said the meeting’s purpose is to improve the relationship and interaction between police and the public. “We would like to have the audience to get involved in the operation and expectation of law enforcement to respond to today’s urgent matters and have the law enforcement community to be able to partner together and better the relationship with the community,” Bennett said “This is a proactive session designed to strengthen the relationship and policing between the community and law enforcement and vice versa.”
