A Lugoff man pled guilty to crack cocaine distribution Wednesday and sentenced to eight years in prison. Henry White, 52, of Longtown Road, Lugoff, pled guilty in circuit court to four of six counts of distribution of crack cocaine before Circuit Court Judge George James Jr. With a plea agreement between the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office and White’s attorney, James sentenced white to eight years in prison on each count to run concurrently. According to a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) press release about the plea agreement and sentencing, KCSO narcotics officers began receiving tips about White -- who also went by the name George Goodwine - in late 2011.
