The Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) responded to a residential fire in the area of Longtown Road at 25 Mile Creek around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. According to a LFD press release, LFD engines 8, 9 and 10 responded to the fire and found large flames over the tree line in the woods near Pebble Lane. Engine 10 crews drove down Pebble Lane to find a large home fully engulfed in fire.
