Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a Cassatt man nearly two weeks after he allegedly attacked a friend by striking him twice in the head with a shovel. According to a KCSO press release, the attack allegedly took place April 15. Deputies arrested Thomas Richard Johnson Jr., 26, of James West Lane, on Wednesday on a warrant charging him with first degree assault and battery.
