S.C. State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) agents arrested a Lugoff man on Thursday for allegedly setting his own home on fire Wednesday morning. According to a SLED press release, agents arrested Marvin Leonard Hill, 60, of Longstreet Road, Lugoff and charged him with two counts of second-degree arson. Some of the Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) firefighters who responded to the fire around 9 a.m. Wednesday had to be instructed to exit the two-story home due to the low number of crew members on hand.
