Man dies of heat stroke

A county man died of heatstroke on July 10, according to a press release from Kershaw County Coroner David West. In the press release, West said George James “Jimmy” Clark, 77, of Williams Road, Camden, died of heat stroke. West said dispatchers were first alerted four days later to the possibility of Clark going missing around 2 p.m. Saturday and dispatched county deputies to the scene.
