Man gets 15 years on federal charges

In a press release issued Thursday, South Carolina U.S. Attorney Beth Drake said Swan Nicoyis Jackson, 22, of Camden, was sentenced Wednesday in federal court to 180 months (15 years) imprisonment with four years of supervised release to follow. Jackson pleaded guilty in January to being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Senior U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, of Columbia, imposed the sentence.
