A Camden man earned another trip to jail after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase that ended when he wrecked the vehicle he was driving Thursday. According to a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) press release, narcotics investigators arrested Travis Zidel Jiles, 20, of McCartha Street, Camden, on Thursday and charged him with possession with intent to distribute marijuana (second offense), failure to stop for a blue light, unlawful carrying of a pistol and resisting arrest following a high speed pursuit. “Jiles’ idiotic actions nearly caused him to kill an innocent woman who was working in her yard,” Sheriff Jim Matthews said.
