Man who shot into ex-girlfriends home released on good behavior

An east Camden woman said she is “stunned” her ex-boyfriend -- who admitted to and was jailed for shooting into her home in July 2014 while she and her 11-year-old were home -- is already out of prison. The victim, speaking with the Chronicle-Independent via private Facebook messages, said not only is she upset Harley Joe Moore is out of prison more than a year before she expected, but that she was not notified of his release by the S.C. Department of Corrections (SCDOC), which released him on March 1. An SCDOC spokesperson said Moore was released early for good behavior.
