Jimmy Joe Methe, the 49-year-old man charged with voluntary manslaughter in the Feb. 13 fatal shooting of 17-year-old Brandon Scott Spencer, is now out on bond. During a brief appearance late Friday morning, Circuit Court Judge L. Casey Manning set Methe’s bond at $200,000, but allowed him to pay a 3 percent minimum in order to be released from the Kershaw County Detention Center. Methe’s newly hired attorney, William Tetterton, posted the $6,000 payment following Friday’s appearance, according to online court records.
