Law enforcement officers found Johnson near his home in the Elgin area on Watts Hill Road. Johnson suffers from the early stages of dementia and severe diabetes. An 80-year-old missing Elgin man suffering from dementia and severe diabetes is back with his family today after being located not far from his Watts Hill Road home Tuesday evening. The man had been missing since Sunday evening. According to a Facebook page post by the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office (KCSO), law enforcement officers located Henry Johnson, 80, of Watts Hill Road, Elgin around 6 p.m. Tuesday following a joint search by the KCSO bloodhound team, a S.C. State Law Enforcement (SLED) helicopter and S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) officers.
