Camden residents living along the 600 block of Lyttleton Street received a rude awakening Sunday morning after neighbors spotted a 250 pound black bear roaming around the neighborhood. Camden Police Chief Joe Floyd said 911 dispatchers first received word of the bear about 11:30 a.m. Sunday after getting phone calls from concerned citizens. Officers went to the scene and spotted the bear making his way through woods located near Lyttleton and York Streets, but lost him before a successful attempt could be made to track his movements.
