As they have for the past five years, Bob and Cheryl Morgan are visiting family in Lugoff for the Christmas holidays from Farmington, N.H. And, as they have for the past five years, the Morgans have brought baked goods and other food to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) as a token of their appreciation for the deputies, many of whom have to work on Christmas Day. “My father was a police chief and a Massachusetts state trooper and I know what it is like for law enforcement officers to be away from their families during Christmas,” Bob Morgan said. “My wife and I just want to give back to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, even though we don’t live here.”
