The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Foundation (KCSF) presented its 2014 Leonard Price Friend of Law Enforcement Award to K.J. Lewis, chaplain for the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) and other local emergency agencies. The KCSF surprised Lewis with the award Monday at the KCSO’s Lugoff headquarters. Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said he is concerned not only for deputies’ physical health, but their mental and spiritual health as well.
