Seven charged in $350 million government fraud scheme

Seven people, including two Camden residents, have been charged in a $350 million scheme to defraud the federal government. Thomas Brock, 49, and Tory Brock, 51, both of Camden, along with Jerry Eddins, 66, of Aspermont, Texas, Harry Michael White, 65, of Columbia, Cory J. Adams, 43 of Columbia, Alfonza McCutchen Jr., 39 of Irmo and Allison Amanda Sauls, 46, of New York, New York were charged in an eighteen count Indictment with various frauds related to the award of nearly $350 million dollars’ worth of federal government construction contracts. According to an Indictment filed in federal court, the scheme took advantage of construction contracts administered through the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Small Business Administration.
