Suspects use stolen canoe to transport stolen goods

Two Camden men were arrested and charged with burglary and larceny after they allegedly broke into a home on Trails End Road in Camden and stole a number of items. David James Link, 24 and Cameron Russell Griffin, 17, both of Camden are charged with second degree burglary and petit larceny. (Check jail for bond info), according to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews. At about 6:45am on July 14, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Hasty and Haile streets in Camden after a citizen observed a man, later identified as Griffin, walking down the street carrying a 42 inch television on his back, which later turned out to be stolen.
