These two tractor-trailers collided on U.S. 601 around 11 a.m. Friday in front of a truck stop, blocking traffic for about three hours. EMS transported a driver of one of the trucks and a juvenile passenger to KershawHealth to be examined. Two tractor-trailer collided on U.S. 601 in front of a truck stop near I-20 around 11 a.m. Friday, blocking both northbound lanes for about three hours. According to a Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) press release, Engine 10 and Service Truck 10 arrived to find the two tractor-trailers had collided. Firefighters first identified the cargo of both trucks to make sure no hazardous materials were involved.
