The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) arrested two New Jersey men passing through the county on I-20 Monday after finding them in possession of a large amount of heroin and MDMA, commonly known as ecstacy. According to a KCSO press release, a S.C. Highway Patrol trooper stopped a car around 6:45 a.m. Monday on I-20 for speeding. A KCSO traffic deputy also working the area stopped to assist the trooper, who said the car’s occupants, Kamal Massey and Eric Sumpter, were acting nervous causing the trooper to be suspicious.
