Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested two men Sept. 24 -- one from Camden and the other from Cassatt -- on drug charges when the KCSO’s narcotics and special response teams served a search warrant at a Cassatt home. A KCSO report said the officers went to the Persimmon Drive residence in the early morning and used a “flash bang” device to create a distraction as they entered the home. The report said deputies found a large, 7-gram rock of suspected crack cocaine in a bedroom where they located 33-year-old Larry Diego Lewis of Highland Avenue, Camden; and a baggie with 1 gram of marijuana in another bedroom with a 25-year-old Cassatt man.
