For the second time in two weeks, the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Traffic Unit arrested two men for speeding at 120 mph or more on I-20. Deputies made the arrests 20 minutes apart Friday night, at 10:30 and 10:50 p.m. According to a KCSO press release, deputies arrested Saul Timothy Kent, 24, of McCormick and Zachary Sanford Daniel, 18, of Columbia, in separate incidents. “All of these speeding arrests have taken place on the section of I-20 where there are numerous crosses placed in the median memorializing traffic fatalities,” Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said in the press release.
