A firefighters journey from N.J. to Lugoff highlights a lifetime of service

Bill Fenton followed in his father’s footsteps to become a volunteer firefighter. It’s not an unusual story; there are many firefighting families, including ones with multiple generations of service. What makes Fenton’s story unique is where he started and the path he took to serving with Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) for 17 years.
