The Kershaw County Sheriffs Office seized drugs, several pistols, numerous rifles including two AR-15 rifles, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition from a Springvale Road home Thursday.
Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a 29-year-old Lugoff man wanted on various charges Thursday thanks to tips from confidential informants. Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews said narcotics agents conducted a raid at a home on Springvale Road and found not only the wanted man and another suspect, but crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, cash and “numerous weapons.” Arrested were Alvin Jerome Wise, 29, of the home, and Sylvester R. Johnson, 27, of Main Street, Bennettsville.
