Woman eats marijuana as KCSO closes in
Pot on car
It looks like a lot, but the hood of this KCSO patrol car is only a fraction of the marijuana plants, cultivation products and drug paraphernalia found in a home on Lockhart Road. The husband and wife living there were arrested after deputies got a tip about the operation -- an operation that encompassed eight rooms inside the home and a shed.
“(Deputies) proceeded to secure the residence when Subject #2 came to the door, eating marijuana.” That’s what a Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputy wrote about a female suspect in his account of his agency’s busting the third indoor marijuana “grow,” or farm, during the past two months. Philippe Michael Truesdale, 42, and Kristina Ratcliff Truesdale, 32, both of Lockhart Road, Camden, were arrested on cultivation of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews.
