Woman killed in I-20 accident

A Charlotte woman was killed in a collision Thursday evening on I-20 near mile marker 96 in Kershaw County. According to County Coroner Johnny Fellers, Dorothy Stowers, 64, was a passenger in a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by her daughter Kimberly Stowers, 32, also of Charlotte. The Ford was traveling westbound on I-20 when it veered to the left and struck a bridge.
