A circuit court judge sentenced Stacey Heather Grein, 45, of Camden, on Dec. 3 for pleading guilty to one count of breach of trust with fraudulent intent, value $10,000 or more. The charge arose in April 2017 following allegations Grein embezzled around $60,000 from the Montessori School of Camden (MSC). Circuit Court Judge Clifton Newman sentenced Grein to 10 years in prison and ordered her to serve three of those 10 years with the balanced suspended upon five years of probation and the repayment of the $60,000 as restitution.
