1,000 paper cranes for Japan
CMS -- Paper Cranes.JPG
Camden Middle School students have launched a project to help raise the spirits of the people of Japan. The students are creating cranes through a few strategic folds of origami paper. Each crane the students craft will represent $1 donated by a student. The cranes will be shipped to a school in Japan, while the funds raised will go to the American Red Cross relief efforts to help victims in Japan.
Camden Middle School students put their folding skills to work to help raise funds for victims of the March 11 earthquake in Japan. With a few intricate folds, students turned a small piece origami paper into a crane. Each crane represents a dollar donated by a student.
