For the 22nd year, the Kershaw County School District (KCSD) and Upchurch & Jowers Insurance Agency honored the top 10 students, in terms of academic achievements, from each of the district’s three high schools. The 30 students making up the 2017 All-County Academic Team celebrated with their families, teachers, guidance counselors, principals and others at Bethesda Presbyterian Church on April 24. The principals of each school -- David Branham, North Central High School (NCHS); Dan Matthews, Camden High School (CHS); and Worth Thomasson, Lugoff-Elgin High School (L-EHS) -- introduced each of their academic team students.
