Camden Elementary School (CES) of the Arts third-graders Emily Cantey and Greer Younghans enjoy a ride on a camel during CES’ Family Reading Night Oct. 10. Sam’s Path Mobile Petting Zoo and Live Nativities brought the camel to help celebrate CES’ reading theme of ancient Egypt. Students were allowed to ride the camel for a few minutes as other families played on the playground, enjoyed a spaghetti dinner or bought books from CES’ book fair.
