Earth science teacher Joey Hendrix shows the difference between a baby crawfish and an adult crawfish. Hendrix and his aquaponics partner Scott Lemonds said the adult crawfish was the size of small one on May 31. Lemonds said its a testament to the purity of the rainwater.
Camden High School (CHS) Earth science students are continuing their work in the school’s aquaponics greenhouse as we head into a colder season. Students, with the direction of science teacher Joey Hendrix and his aquaponics partner Scott Lemonds, are raising money to help keep the greenhouse at an adequate “tropical” temperature during the winter season. Aquaponics is a system that allows owners to grow plants and fish together in an integrated soilless system.
