AKA Sorority Inc. presents scholarship awards to L-E grads

Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority Inc. presented scholarships to several students as the 2014-15 school year wound down. LaKayla Renae Dixon and Aayahna Monae Herbert, both Lugoff-Elgin High School seniors, each received the 2015 scholarship awards from AKA’s Iota Omega Omega Chapter. AKA, the first Greek-letter sorority for African-American women, is celebrating 107 years of continuous service.
