Special Olympics 2012 t-shirt winners

Two Kershaw County School District (KCSD) students -- Lugoff-Elgin High student Domminique Thomas-Hayes (third from left) and Leslie M. Stover Middle student Drew Blocker (second from right) -- were selected as the winners of the design for the 2012 Kershaw County Special Olympics T-shirt. More than 225 local athletes from 23 classes in schools across KCSD participated in the Special Olympics games April 13. Joining the students were (from left) Col. Eric Boland, Camden Military Academy headmaster; Debi Davis, KCSD director of special services; Dr. Frank Morgan, KCSD superintendent; and Chief Joe Floyd, Camden Police Department.
