Five Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) students have qualified to compete for national honors at a health science conference this summer after capturing medals at the state competition held recently in North Charleston. Students brought home one gold medal, two silver medals and one bronze medal from the S.C. Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) competition, a national leadership organization for students enrolled in health science-related programs. Rachel Hudgins won a gold medal in the clinical specialty competition.
