Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) students captured first place in state competition for their community awareness project on fighting hunger in Kershaw County. Journee Mills, Mickayla McIntyre, Linda Dingus and Sarah Marthers were honored for their project at the state Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Leadership Conference held March 8-10 in North Charleston. Mark Sury placed third in the prepared speaking competition.
