CHS Honors Biology I
In these pictures, Kershaw County School District teachers and students celebrate the first day of school Monday for the 2015-16 school year. In the first picture, a cherry is placed atop Lugoff Elementary School (LES) kindergarten teacher Amanda Hicks’ head, completing her transformation into a human ice cream sundae Monday afternoon during a special assembly (right). Hicks earned the honor during a recent open house when parents “voted” for their children’s favorite teachers by donating $1 to the school’s literacy and technology initiative committee, of which Hicks is a member.
