Blaney Elementary School 5th Graders (from left) Cheyenne Kerr, Cecilia McEaney, Shawn Hunger and Ivy Huba solve math problems for their team while participating in the schools National Talk Like a Pirate Day celebration. The school celebrated with costumes, pirate treats and a fun math competition. Retired teacher Scott Gandy created and organized the event to help motivate students.
